Hi, I'm Fan.

I'm a Product Manager and UX Designer with around eight years of experience across industrial design, hardware products and digital platforms.

I started my career as an industrial designer, working on physical products including medical equipment. I later moved into hardware product management, where I learned how to take products from early concepts through development and production.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to move back to Wuhan to be closer to my family. That move also became a turning point in my career, as I shifted from hardware to digital product management. At Changjiang Yuntong, I worked on B2B platforms across healthcare, finance and data services, including hospital AI applications and data exchange systems. As the sole Product Manager for my first two years, I was responsible for product definition, prioritisation and working with engineering teams to bring products to life.

After several years in industry, I moved to the Netherlands to pursue my Master's in Industrial Design at TU/e. More recently, I worked with Philips Sleep & Respiratory Care, focusing on UX research and digital healthcare experiences for patients and healthcare professionals.

Having worked across hardware, software and UX research, I enjoy connecting different perspectives and turning complicated problems into products that make sense for the people using them.
